April 16, 2024 – Clever, Mo. – CableAmerica announced Clever Elementary School is the winner of its sixth annual “Dream Bigger” social media campaign, which awards $2,500 to a school or organization providing STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education to K-12 students.

To engage and inspire young students, the school will be launching an afterschool program that uses cooking and baking to teach important STEM concepts.

“We are so excited to be a CableAmerica Dream Bigger winner,” said DaLynn Twigg, Clever Elementary School 3-5 Counselor. “Our community really came together to support our participation by voting and spreading the word about the contest. This award will fund a new afterschool group that will incorporate STEM, cooking and counseling, and it is being made possible by CableAmerica’s generosity.”

This year, nearly 100 schools and organizations submitted entries outlining how the award would be used to fund their STEM projects, and how the projects benefit students. The winners were determined by public voting and were announced on CableAmerica’s Facebook page.

Since 2019, CableAmerica and the associated Cable One family of brands have awarded nearly $150,000 through the Dream Bigger initiative.
