February 8, 2024 – Republic, Mo. – CableAmerica recently began construction on a $3.3 million upgrade project that will further increase the reliability of its high-speed internet service, while preparing for the future connectivity needs of the Republic and Clever communities.
CableAmerica will add nearly 32 miles of new fiber and 22 miles of coaxial cable to enhance its infrastructure in Republic. More than four miles of new fiber and nearly two miles of new coaxial cable will be added in Clever.
“CableAmerica is committed to supporting the area’s continued growth and economic development by delivering fast, reliable internet service to keep customers connected to the things that matter most,” said CableAmerica General Manager Travis Harr. “These infrastructure investments will enhance connectivity for residential and business customers, making daily tasks such as work, school, streaming, or gaming more seamless.”
Work on these upgrades is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
