February 8, 2024 – Linn, Mo. – CableAmerica recently began construction work on a $675,000 upgrade project that will further increase the reliability of its high-speed internet service, while preparing for the future connectivity needs of the Linn and Loose Creek communities.

“CableAmerica understands that fast and reliable internet service is critical for keeping our customers connected to the things they care about most,” said CableAmerica General Manager Travis Harr. “Residential and business customers rely on the internet for everything from streaming, to running their smart homes, to receiving online orders and taking payments and everything in between. CableAmerica is not only working to meet current connectivity expectations, but investing in technological enhancements that will support customer needs now and well into the future.”

Work on these upgrades is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. While crews will do their best to minimize service interruptions, there may be brief, intermittent outages from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. To help residents plan ahead, a list of streets that will be impacted can be found at https://www.cableamerica.com/customer-notifications/.
