CableAmerica Email Retirement

Effective Oct. 9, 2024, CableAmerica will no longer offer residential email. As a result, your email accounts provided by CableAmerica (@CableMO.net or @Osage.net) will need to be transitioned to a new email provider before Oct. 9, 2024.

Any emails left in your CableAmerica email account with a @CableMO.net or @Osage.net email address as of Oct. 9, 2024, will be permanently deleted and unrecoverable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Many of our customers have expressed the need for a more robust email offering than what CableAmerica currently provides. Because of this, the number of customers using our email has steadily declined over the past several years. As a result, we are discontinuing email service.

Effective Oct. 9, 2024, CableAmerica will discontinue offering residential email service. As a result, email accounts provided by CableAmerica will need to be transitioned to a new email provider prior to that date.

Absolutely. You can sign up for an alternative email service and begin using it any time you like. Free email services with more robust offerings include Gmail or Mail.com.

Customers must select a new email provider and export their contacts and any emails they wish to save from their CableAmerica email account.

Other Action Required:

  1. If your CableAmerica email address is your contact email for your CableAmerica services, please update your online customer account with your new email. You can also reach our representatives at 800-338-1808 for assistance or email helpdesk@cablemo.net.
  2. If you use your CableAmerica email address to log in to CableAmerica services such as Tivo or Watch TV Everywhere, please update your login information with your new email address right away.
  3. If you’re using your CableAmerica email address as a username or contact for any of your online billing accounts or social media accounts, we suggest you update those accounts with your new email address as soon as possible.

Premium email services (such as Gmail and Mail.com), are available at no cost and offer an array of functionalities, including the ability to create multiple email addresses, abundant storage space, and a wide variety of tools. Additionally, these services are portable, meaning you can keep your email address should you ever move out of CableAmerica’s service area.
