A computer in your office requests a web page or e-mail - that request is sent as a data request to a
broadband modem.

The modem sends the data request to a receiver/transmitter unit that has been installed on your office roof.

The receiver/transmitter sends the data to a CableAmerica receive/transmit tower,
which then sends the data to our Internet Head-end.

Our Internet Head-end receives the request and either gets the requested data from our servers or sends the request over the Internet.

Once all requested data has been retrieved it is sent from the Internet Head-end back to CableAmerica's receive/transmit tower, which
then sends the data back to the receiver/transmitter unit mounted on the roof.

The data is then decoded through the modem and downloaded on to the computer. The whole process takes mere millisecond for most data requests.
